NRA Instructor Level Classes
We offer instructor level training to both the general public and to our volunteers.
Bayprofs is a volunteer organization, and is always on the lookout for dedicated instructors in the San Francisco Bay Area. If you feel that becoming a NRA Certified Instructor is something you may be interested in, feel free to contact us with your interest and experiences. We offer extreme discounts on a range of instructor level classes to instructors that volunteer with us on a regular basis.
Please reach out to us if you would like to attend an instructor-level class and do not see one scheduled. These classes are generally scheduled on an “as needed” basis.
All NRA instructor level classes require that you can prove that you have taken and passed the student-level class of the same type. You will also need to pass the scored shooting qualification, and demonstrate the proper knowledge, skills, and attitude during the classroom evaluations in order to be recommended as an instructor.
NRA instructor level courses do not teach you how to operate firearms, nor do they teach marksmanship. If you choose to volunteer with us then we can work with you prior to the instructor class to get you to the skill level needed for success.
Payment and attendance of an instructor level course is not a guarantee that you will receive an instructor recommendation.
